What we actually sell
Almost everything on TraveloBikes is free – the routes, photos, checklists, and stories are here for anyone to use.
The only things that cost money are occasional paid digital products: detailed GPX packs with offline maps, printable PDF guides, or fully custom route-planning services. This policy covers only those paid items.
Digital downloads (GPX files, PDF guides, etc.)
Because these products are delivered instantly and can be copied, we generally cannot offer refunds once the download link has been sent or the file accessed.
However, if something is genuinely broken (corrupted file, wrong route, missing waypoints) just write to us within 14 days and we will fix it immediately or refund 100% – no questions, no hassle.
If you bought by mistake or changed your mind within the first hour and haven’t downloaded anything yet, let us know and we’ll cancel the order and refund in full.
Custom route-planning service
This is personal work – we spend days or weeks building a tailor-made itinerary exactly to your dates, fitness level, and wishes.
After you approve the final proposal and pay the invoice, the fee is non-refundable because the work is already done.
If you cancel before we start the actual research (usually within 24 hours of payment), we refund everything minus a small processing fee (20 USD).
If we, for whatever reason, cannot deliver the agreed route on time, you get a full refund instantly.
Payment processing fees
Any fees that Stripe, PayPal or the bank charges us are non-refundable (usually 3–4%), but we always refund the full amount you actually paid minus those unavoidable fees.
How to request a refund
Just send a short email to [email protected] with your order number or the original payment confirmation.
We normally process refunds the same day or next business day – money goes back to the same card or account you used.
Exceptions and common sense clause
We’re cyclists, not robots. If something unexpected happens – illness, family emergency, volcanic eruption on your planned route – write to us and explain. In almost every case we’ll find a fair solution (credit for future purchase, partial refund, or full refund).
